The last October we celebrated Halloween in the school. All the courses took part in different activities in order to work such festivity.
The children of 1st grade were working vocabulary related with Halloween like: cat, pumpkin, ghost, bat, and witch. They painted and cut the drawings, and after this work they played the "mix-mix" game. The pupils played this game in pairs. One person holds the pictures of the vocabulary. The other child has to ask questions to his/her partner like:
- Is it a witch?/ Have you got a witch? (Yes, it is/no it isn't. Yes I have/No I haven't)
Afterwards, when the other person guessed the character, they changed the role.
Finally, the kids repeated the same game but with the whole group.
3rd and 4th grade created a pumpkin mask. They used wax crayons and then varnished them.
Finally, the boys and girls of 5th and 6th grade decorated the English classroom with Halloween ornament. Moreover, they used pumpkins in order to create the well-known "Jack-o'-lanterns".
El passat mes d'octubre vàrem celebrar el Halloween a l'escola. Tots els cursos van participar en diverses activitats per tal de treballar aquesta festivitat.
Els alumnes de 1r van estar treballant vocabulari relacionat amb Halloween, com ara: gat, carabassa, fantasma, ratpenat i bruixa. Van pintar i tallar tals dibuixos i després varen jugar al "mix-mix" Els alumnes van jugar aquest joc per parelles. Una persona té les imatges amb el vocabulari. L'altre nen/a ha de preguntar qüestions a la seva parella com ara:
- És una bruixa?/ Tens una bruixa? (Si, ho és/No, no ho és. Sí, la tinc/ No, no la tinc).
3r i 4t van crear una màscara en forma de carabassa. Van utilitzar ceres de colors i després les van envernissar.
Finalment, els nens i nenes de 5è i 6è van decorar l'aula d'anglès amb ornamentació de Halloween i, a més a més, van elaborar les conegudes "Jack-o'-lanterns" buidant carabasses.
